Castor with a unique design that possesses all the characteristics to move very heavy industrial machines.
The advantages of choosing this model are as follows:
- Wheel made of crush-resistant polyurethane over the long term with an inner ball bearing and a cast iron rim for increased strength.
- Presence of a grease fitting to improve the longevity of the internal ball path. The pivoting of the assembly is therefore very easy.
- Presence of a very powerful brake to stop the rotation of the wheel even under a load of 1000 kg per unit.
- Directional brake included as standard on this model, allowing the pivoting of the castor to be locked every 90 degrees. This allows each castor to be transformed into a fixed castor, thus enabling linear movement according to configurations. The ideal setup for moving heavy machines is to have 2 wheels out of 4 in a fixed position to easily guide the whole assembly.
- A large stroke of 230 mm is possible with a minimum height of 690 mm and a maximum height of 920 mm. This allows machines to be placed on their original feet.
- Zinc finish with a strong thickness of zinc for very good long-term resistance even outdoors.
- Removable crank using the pin to minimize total bulk.
- Plate with a strong thickness of 6 mm to prevent bending during loading.
- Internal power transmission is achieved using a screw and wheels to limit the effort required from operators.
WARNING, certain precautions must be taken during handling:
- It is essential to lift each castor at the same time to avoid breaking the internal mechanism.
- It is necessary during your preliminary studies to calculate the total load on 3 points and not 4. If your machine has a mass of 2,700 kg, you should divide 2700 by 3, which means 900 kg of load per castor. The maximum allowable total load per castor is 1,000 kg, or 3,000 kg across 4 units.
- Also be cautious of your machine's center of gravity to avoid overloading one or two wheels that would then bear the majority of the total mass (risk of breakage).
