This non-retail carton allows us to offer an economical version of our classic rails, which are usually sold in a 3-meter format. This shorter 2-meter format is easy to store in a van and ship with standard carriers. This rail is designed for a wheel with a groove of 19 mm, which is standard with many models. The delivered carton contains 5 rails of 2 meters inside.

The steel thickness is 3 mm, which is very important compared to a classic rail sold on the market at 2 mm. The advantage is that the rail will not crush even with the passage of a semi trailer on it during work, for example.

We have provided oblong holes of 6.5 x 11 mm to allow the rail to expand due to heat during the summer, preventing it from swelling and twisting, which could damage the fixings. It can absorb a punching load of 500 kilograms per unit, which is very important. Hot galvanization also ensures increased durability over time with a much thicker layer of zinc than standard galvanization. Indeed, the zinc is deposited by total immersion of the rail in a tank, while standard galvanization is done by simple electrolytic deposition.

It is important not to compare this rail to a thinner rail, especially one protected from corrosion by simple electro-galvanization! The climatic stresses are too significant for such a simple coating.
