Castor designed for agricultural barriers for cow enclosures or horse stalls. This helps relieve the hinges of the barrier on difficult terrains (mud, gravel, or any other obstacles).
The steel that makes up the structure is oversized compared to the load of the wheel since the structure can withstand vertical loads of 300 kilograms. The sheet metal used is 6 mm thick.
We have created numerous holes in the plate with a diameter of 9 mm, which will allow you to bolt the plate to your support or weld it directly after grinding the paint beforehand. We can also provide you with tubular fasteners to hang the castor on a tube with a diameter of 40 mm.
The wheel is inflated with an inner tube. The advantage lies in the flexibility of the wheel, but the downside is related to the regular deflation of it like a bicycle tire.
Therefore, remember to inflate the wheel every week before use to avoid being flat. If you want another model of wheel, feel free to request it via email (puncture-proof soft or puncture-proof hard).
The spring will compress to a maximum of 200 mm with a vertical force of 130 kg and to half that with a force of 60 kg. During the raising/lowering of the fork, the induced friction will chip the paint on the square axis, so it is ideal to regularly grease this part to limit friction.
We have added a brake to stop the rotation of the wheel on the castor on sloped terrains.
