This low pressure wheel is ideal for rolling on sand: indeed, by not exceeding an inflation of between 0.1 bar and 0.2 bar, you can ride on hot sand with complete peace of mind.
We have added a ball bearing made of austenitic 304 stainless steel to prevent rusting when in contact with salt water. This will ensure smooth rotation for several years without issues. The nuts and bolts used to assemble the wheel are also rust-resistant stainless steel.
The coating is made of PVC. Care must be taken not to overinflate the wheels. A compressor is too powerful compared to the necessary inflation (about 10 times less than a bike wheel). A bicycle pump will therefore suffice to inflate the whole assembly. We deliver the wheel with the necessary pressure, so it is ready to use. The whole assembly is designed for a 25 mm axle; if you need reducing rings for a 20 mm diameter, we can make them to measure.
