The main feature of this model compared to others on the market is that it consists of a bearing with precision waterproof ball bearings that reduce noise. Normally, the classic models sold have pressed bearings that emit metallic noises when opening or closing the gate. Moreover, the play in this type of bearing allows dust to settle in and increases friction on the bearing cage. Our internal bearing 6200Z is functional up to 80,000 cycles of opening/closing, which corresponds to 5 times the standard lifespan of regular models.
The rod is galvanized along its entire length, which prevents the whole assembly from oxidizing. Nylon is the most durable material for this type of product subjected to intensive use.
