This pair of lifting blocks is ideal for very heavy handling up to 500 kg in total vertically.
Each block is rated for a maximum load of half a ton, but you cannot add these loads together if the lifting is done vertically.
However, you can move 1000 kg horizontally, such as to pull a car out of a ditch or a farming machine stuck in a field.
Once the rope is passed through each pulley, the force to be applied will be divided by the number of pulleys present.
If your hoist has 6 pulleys, you will divide the effort by 6. There is, of course, a friction coefficient to apply to the entire setup of around 0.1 per pulley.
You should achieve a multiplication factor of around 5 once the friction forces are taken into account. For rigging this hoist, simply tie a bowline knot on the ring on one of the two blocks first. Then thread the rope through the pulley of the opposite block and make back-and-forth movements.
Product made entirely of steel with hot-dip galvanized sheaves.
