This caster is designed for heavy load handling applications, offering robustness, maneuverability, and safety.
Type of Caster: Swivel with brake. The upper plate allows for a complete 360° rotation for excellent maneuverability, while the integrated brake ensures total locking of the wheel and the swivel rotation when stopped, guaranteeing the safety of loads.
Capacity: Heavy load. The design and materials (aluminum body) are optimized to support significant weights, making it ideal for heavy industrial equipment, production carts, or storage containers.
Diameter: 160 mm. This large diameter facilitates overcoming obstacles and ensures a more comfortable and smoother roll on various types of floors.
Composition of the Roller:
Body (Rim): Aluminum. Aluminum offers an excellent balance between lightness, structural strength, and heat dissipation.
Tread (Coating): Polyurethane (PU) (visible by the orange/yellow color). Polyurethane is highly valued for its abrasion resistance, cut resistance, grease resistance, and many chemicals, while providing good grip and a quiet roll.
Type of Bearing: Ball bearing. This type of bearing ensures a very low starting and rolling resistance, even under heavy load, improving movement efficiency and reducing operator effort.
Mounting/Bracket: Made of zinc-plated stamped steel, it ensures the connection between the mounting plate and the wheel.
Mounting Plate: Square/rectangular mounting plate with holes (typically 4 fixing points) for easy and secure mounting on the support (cart, machine, etc.).
Industrial swivel caster with brake for heavy load, Ø 160 mm. Equipped with a roller made of aluminum body with a tread made of high-strength polyurethane (PU), mounted on ball bearing for optimal rolling. Ideal for demanding environments requiring excellent maneuverability and increased safety when stopped.
