This wheel, due to its design, makes the movement of technical machines easy. Indeed, it has been specially designed to quickly lock your support onto rubber pads.
To do this, simply use the built-in ratchet to the right to lower the pad or to the left to raise it. To switch between the two modes, just change the direction of the screw by pulling or pushing a small button on the side of the ratchet.
It takes about 15 ratchet clicks to lower the pad from the highest position. It takes approximately 1 minute to raise or lower the 4 castors of the support, which saves precious time for the operator.
To increase the lever arm if the load is around 250 kg per unit, you can insert a 6 mm diameter screwdriver (or a metal rod) into the hole provided for this purpose. The pad will raise your support by only 5 mm, which allows for securely locking the machine without overly elevating the entire assembly.
Once the pad is raised to the high position, there will be a gap of 3.5mm between the ground and the bottom of the pad.
It is also a very robust model as the wheel is made of nylon.
