This caster allows you, thanks to its double pedal system, to lower or retract a 47 mm diameter rubber non-slip stabilizing foot.
- Press the lower pedal and one foot will lower to the ground to stabilize your workbench.
- Press the upper pedal and the foot will retract, leaving the wheel free, allowing you to move your work table as needed.
We have made this caster entirely from INOX 304 to allow you to install the model in demanding environments (food, nuclear, cleanroom).
The sturdiness of the mount and the coating of the wheel make this caster compatible for heavy loads; indeed, the unit load of this caster is 350 Kg, or 1 ton for 4 casters. (We always calculate on 3 points for safety).
The wheel has a diameter of 75 mm and its coating is made of nylon (hardness 99 SHORES A), making it non-staining and rust-resistant. The fixing plate measures 108x88 mm, and the fixing holes are oblong and measure 11x8 mm.
The total height of the caster with or without the activated pedal is 112 mm, and the mount is equipped with 2 grease fittings under the pivoting part.
What is very interesting is that activated or deactivated, the pedal does not change the total height since the mechanism allows the wheel to tilt.
The total footprint when pivoting the caster relative to the center of the plate is 150 mm.
If you wish, you can level your table by unscrewing the nut under the pad; you have 5 mm of adjustment. This is an extremely useful product in industry for stabilizing workbenches subjected to strong vibrations, for example, from jigsaws.
