- It is crucial to lift each caster at the same time to avoid breaking the internal mechanism.
- It is essential during your preliminary studies to calculate the total load on 3 points and not 4. If your machine has a mass of 2,700 kg, it is appropriate to divide 2700 by 3, resulting in 900 kg of load per caster. The maximum allowable total load per caster is 1,000 kg, which totals 3,000 kg across 4 units.
- Also pay attention to the center of gravity of your machine so as not to overload one or two casters that would bear the majority of the total mass (risk of breakage).
