Container special wheel to address the presence of small gravel on asphalt.
It can roll on concrete parking lots like tarmac or on surfaces with slight irregularities. The diameter of the wheel allows it to roll over gravel with a maximum diameter of 8 mm. The attachment is made using the world-renowned twist-lock system present on all containers in the market. The wheel is self-stabilized during movement by the operator thanks to a small wheel at the base that can be retracted using a spring-mounted pin attached to the wheel.
The treads of the wheel allow water to drain during the towing of the entire unit using a forklift.
You can use this wheel at speeds of up to 20 km/h. WARNING, it is necessary to divide the unit's admissible load by 2 as stated in the technical sheet. For example, if it supports 2000 kg per unit, totaling 6000 kg, then the total load on 4 wheels at 20 km/h will only be 3000 kg.
The frame of the wheel is made of 10 mm thick steel and the plate is made of reinforced 12 mm steel with welds performed by an automatic robot.
Each wheel is securely fixed on a solid zinc-coated steel axle with a diameter of 65 mm. The wheel cannot unscrew during handling because the locking nut on the axle is welded.
