This swivel goods handling castor with fixing plate, diameter 160 mm, is composed of a galvanised steel mounting and fitted with a brake. This prevents untimely movement once fitted to a trolley or other support.
The black rubber tread is mounted on a black plastic rim with threadguard (metal rim) and roller-bearings. Today there is no longer any doubt about the usefulness of having a threadguard which prevents dirt entering the bearings. This makes for a maintenance-free model.
The castor swivels on two rows of bearings to reduce friction.
It is ideal for goods handling in a workshop on uneven ground, but can equally be fitted to a sitting room coffee table to add extra height.
This castor can support heavy loads and will provide silent handling for many years!
